Interesting response, seems like their position has changed from several weeks ago.

There are meetings going on next week between Addoha and Gilmar. The next update will be an important one.

i have gone over the sums again and have definately been given figures of a few percent added but wonder if this was inclusive of any other costs.  i recollect paying euros to the law firm so it can not be for that.
anyway i have had a reply as follows:

I confirm that you should not proceed with the next payment until we come back to you. We are meeting the developer at the end of this month to discuss about a few issues with regard with the project and the payment. So far we have got so many troubles in getting appropriate receipt of funds from the beneficiary bank and we do like to sort this out before any more payments.  

You will hear from us in due time

JPM can i ask what your initial payment amount was back in 2009 as i have added up my figures and all my payments total approximately 27% and not 25% of the purchase price and my stage payments slightly differ from your amounts you have written above.

most currency brokers have similar margins but i also find moneycorp or worldwide currencies to be most competitive when you ask for their best exchange rate.

you may be right jmp.  i also had the email from Victoria with payment dates for the remaining 13% for Aug 2010/11/12. What happens if my unit is ready before the last payment date. When would i need to apply for a mortgage ??

I sent payment in June 09 and received e-mail confirmation from Victoria Garcia mid August 09. Thought you had to pay 12% before receiving the exchange of contract anyway. could i ask i anyone ever recieved any form of reciept for the 12% original payment. i never, but just took it for granted that it had been recieved ok.

can i also ask which currency site people are using for transferring funds. I deal with Moneycorp but would be interested to know if anyones found any better.

Just to clarify!
we all made a payment last year, this was the 12%?

And with this years current payment and a further payment for next year, these 2 payments total 13%?

which totals the 25 % including the initial 12% upon signing of contract last year?
is this a correct calculation
